Shipping and Customs

  • Standard delivery - Β£6,00 (Free shipping on purchases over Β£49,99)
    Delivery time: approx. 2-5 working days.

  • We use DHL as our international shipping provider for all orders. 

    •  For the UK, the local courier is Royal Mail.
    •  For Ireland, the local courier is An Post.

  • For orders made before midday on working days, your parcel will usually be shipped out the same day. All orders received after midday will be shipped on the next working day.

    Please note, orders made after midday on Friday will not be processed until Monday.

    Returns:All products purchased from Nordic Oil are eligible for a full refund if returned within 14 days of purchase. Returns are free of charge. Always contact us and let us know the reason for the return by sending an e-mail to [email protected]

    Extra charges for Customs Duty and VAT:

  • We aim to deliver all UK and Ireland orders within 2-5 days.

  • UK customers:

    Nordic Oil products are shipped from the EU, so all UK orders are categorised as imports. We use a tracked delivery service to guarantee delivery.

    Due to increased customs clearance measures in place since 01.01.2021, orders may be subject to delays of 2-3 days. We do not have control over such delays, but we are doing everything we can to optimise the process.

    Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland customers:

    We use DPD to ship directly, therefore bypassing customs charges and delays.

Payment Options

We currently offer the following two payment methods at the checkout:

  • (UK and EU cards only)

    Payment can be made at the checkout with a credit or debit card. We only accept cards issued in the UK or EU. The following cards are accepted: Mastercard , Maestro, Visa. Please be aware, that you may be required to authenticate your payment via an external link with your bank. If you have any issues with the authentication process, please contact your bank directly.

  • (Only available with a safari browser or apple account)

    The order total will be debited directly from your credit in your Apple Pay account. Please ensure that both your device and browser support this method of payment.

  • If you use a debit card, your payment may not go through.

    Please note that we only accept payments from cards in the European Economic Community.

    If you tried to proceed with the payment and there was an error, we suggest you try again from another browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc), or clear your browser's cookies. If this alternative still does not work, we suggest you contact your bank for more information.

    If you have problems with your credit card payment, you can use another payment method such as manual bank transfer.

  • It could refer to 3D secure (3DS) authentication, which is a two-factor security protocol that ensures greater security in online business transactions made with credit / debit cards. 3D secure authentication is a double verification procedure entirely managed by your bank. The use of this procedure is mandatory for all banking institutions starting from April 2021.

  • When making an online purchase, you must enter your card details to proceed with the payment if you have chosen to pay by card.

    Once you click on "pay", a screen of your bank opens where you have to enter the OTP code received via text message or App.

    Once the code has been entered, the payment is finalized.

    We recommend that you contact your credit institution for more precise and complete information.

    If you have a credit card with which you usually shop online and you have not yet activated the two-factor service (3DS), you will not be able to make the payment. This is because your bank will ask you to enter a special OTP security code (One Time Password, i.e. a disposable code / password) or to access your online banking app to authorize the payment. The only solution is to contact the institution that issued your card and proceed with the activation of this security system.

  • To activate the 3D secure code procedure, you need to go to your bank branch and have your telephone number associated with the card.

    After associating your certified phone number, for each online purchase your bank will send you the OTP code via SMS or App and you can complete the online transaction by entering this code on the dedicated page.

    If you have not yet been able to activate the procedure through the credit institution of which you are a customer, or if for any other reason you are unable to complete the payment, you can always pay by bank transfer.
