Everything You Need To Know About CBD Crystals

CBD crystals contain zero THC. While most people assume CBD doesn’t contain THC, there are still trace amounts found in CBD oil that are made using the entire hemp plant. This is known as full-spectrum CBD and can be sold legally as long as it contains less than 0.2% THC. While this minuscule amount typically isn’t enough for people to feel any psychoactive effects, it can still show up in a person’s system. CBD crystals offer all the benefits of CBD without a trace of THC. This isolated version of CBD is excellent for anyone who is sensitive to THC or can’t have THC show up in a drug test.

As more people become curious about Cannabidiol (CBD) the non-psychoactive compound derived from hemp, CBD crystals are becoming increasingly more popular, especially for those who are worried about drug testing. CBD crystals are for those who are looking for one of the most potent forms of CBD with a guaranteed 0% THC. You may be wondering what exactly is a CBD crystal anyway? No, it’s not a beautiful stone to put on a ring or necklace, it’s actually pure CBD. In this article, we will explain everything you need to know about CBD crystals, and how to dose and take them.

What are CBD crystals?

CBD crystals are a very pure, concentrated form of Cannabidiol, one of the most abundant cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. CBD crystals are a pure, crystalline powder that contains up to 99% pure CBD. While most people assume CBD products don’t contain THC, trace amounts of THC can be found in full-spectrum CBD oil that is made using the entire hemp plant. The difference between our oils and CBD crystals is that all the plant matter contained in the hemp plant, such as oils, waxes, and chlorophyll are removed. Removing all other components in the plant will leave you with a fine white powder that’s 99% pure CBD.

How are CBD crystals made?

CBD crystals are produced by using a finer detailed extraction process. In order to get CBD out of hemp, the first step is that it must be extracted. CBD isolate extraction starts out just like our other extraction processes used to make all other CBD products.

Once the initial extraction takes place, concentrated CBD is still full of the other plant material. The way that we get the pure form of isolated CBD crystals is with an extra purifying process after the initial extraction process takes place. This process filters all other plant material from the CBD extract. After extracting and filtering out the CBD, our extracted oil goes through what’s known as “winterization”. The winterization process will further remove any trace amounts of waxes and other plant materials that were still present after filtration. After all that filtration, you’re left with a fine white powder that is 99% pure CBD.

Military service members, police officers, emergency first responders, and anyone else who cannot fail a drug test under any circumstances but still want to take CBD can use CBD crystals daily without the fear of having THC in their system.

CBD Crystals Dosage – How Much Should I take?

Keep in mind that CBD crystals are 99% pure. How many milligrams you want to use will entirely depend on how much CBD you want to take. Everyone is different but we always recommend starting with a low dose (1 to 10 mg) and only add more gradually if needed.

A gram of CBD crystals will typically contain over 990 milligrams of CBD. This means that for one milligram of powder, you’re getting one milligram of CBD. This makes it easier than ever to measure precise dosages and knows *exactly* how much CBD you’re getting with each dose.

While it might have seemed intimidating at first, there’s nothing to worry about. CBD crystals are actually one of the most versatile ways to use CBD that exists.

How To Use CBD Crystals

So, you’ve picked up some CBD crystals, now what? You may be wondering what you can do with this tasteless, odorless, white powder? The answer is simple, you can do whatever you want with it. It’s nice that CBD crystals don’t have any taste or odor because it allows the user to take it in many different ways.

Some of the easiest ways to get your daily dose of CBD using CBD crystals include:

Sublingual

Placing CBD crystal powder directly under your tongue is, by far, the easiest way to use this isolate. Simply place your dose of powder under your tongue the same way as you would with CBD oil and hold it there for about 60 seconds. The CBD will then be delivered to the bloodstream via the mucus membranes. CBD has no taste or odor so there shouldn’t be any bitter taste to worry about.

Cooking

You can also use your own cooking oil to make a CBD-infused oil to cook or bake with, but it’s very important to keep in mind that CBD will lose its potency at higher temperatures. If you want to cook with oil infused with crystals, it’s important to maintain the cooking temperature at less than 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and never go above 400 degrees. CBD crystals heated at a higher temperature will lose their potency.

Mix CBD crystals with your favorite drinks

Another easy way to use CBD crystal powder is by adding it to a glass of your favorite drink. It will blend nicely with coffee, tea, juice, or smoothies. This is because CBD crystals get easily dissolved easily in food and drinks. You can even make your own CBD water every day with the correct measure of CBD crystals.

Mix CBD crystals with your favorite cream and use as a topical

CBD crystals can also be mixed with skin oils to create a topical. that can be used on sore muscles or to ease inflammation and joint or arthritis pain.

What is Cannabigerol? (CBG)

The Hemp plant contains more than 100 cannabinoids. CBD and THC are, by far, the best known, but Nordic Oil’s aim is to explore and understand all of them. Cannabigerol, or CBG, is our first major move in that direction. To understand why we are so excited about that, it helps to learn a little more about CBG.

Cannabigerol (CBG) is one of the most important cannabinoids that exists. Yes, even more, important than CBD. Why? It’s because CBD (and many other cannabinoids) begin as CBG! So basically, CBG can be thought of as the “mother” cannabinoid to THC, CBD, and many other cannabinoids. What CBG can do at this point has not been extensively researched, but the early research has been fascinating, suggesting potential as a muscle relaxant, pain reliever, antidepressant, and also possibly have antifungal properties. Have you tried CBD or CBG crystals? Share your experience in the comment section.

Now that you know exactly what it is and how to use it, you can consider integrating CBD crystals into your regular routine.
